Ignoring that it’s Christmas Day in only 18 days and December is whizzing by, I’m going to take you back to November when everything was less stressful and share my favourites from the month.

Warm winter wear, books to bury your nose into, berry hues and cinnamon scents, the no sense of guilt from consuming too much chocolate… I love this time of year!

I’ve been reading Marian Keyes’ brilliant new novel ‘The Woman Who Stole My Life’ for the past couple of months on and off (clearly I need to get to bed earlier to read more) and I’ve fallen in love with Marian’s writing, her personality and humour just leaps off the page at you and you suddenly find yourself reading the text in her Irish tone. With a few chapters left to finish there’s no spoilers for me to spill, but if you like those emotional rollercoaster reads then this one is for you. Warning: most likely to make you laugh out loud.

A few of my favourite makeup bits from November include a couple of freebies from InStyle and Glamour magazine. I actually bought three copies of Glamour, aside from wanting to support my girl Tanya, I wanted the Clinique mini lipsticks and moisturiser! Cherry Pop is a gorgeous red shade and makes me feel festive instantly, a great colour to wear if you want to transform your day to night look. I also fell back in love with an old favourite too – Fresh Sugar lip treatment in ‘Berry’, which smells like blackcurrant and makes your lips feel super hydrated whilst giving them a pop of colour.

This roll neck jumper and blanket scarf have been my fashion faves of the month. I can simply throw on this knit with a pair of jeans and my black coat and boots and it looks effortlessly chic – the lazy girl’s guide to looking good this winter! When I’m not living in this M&Co jumper, you can find me layered up with this blanket scarf from Marks & Spencer – it is SO cosy!

I’m totally guilty of nibbling away on Green & Black’s salted caramel chocolate on the sofa whilst watching all the movies on the Christmas 24 channel, and I’ve been lighting my favourite peppermint bark candle from HomeSense to help get me into the festive spirit – it smells uh-mazing!
